Kai Knuutila

Kai Knuutila has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kai'smost recent position was as a Business Development Executive at Silo AI, where they built and managed client relationships in the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Prior to this, they served as a Site Lead and Tech Lead - Embedded AI at Silo AI, demonstrating their leadership skills and expertise in artificial intelligence. Kai also worked as a Lead AI Solutions Strategist at the same company, focusing on client relationships in various sectors such as Smart Devices, Industry, IoT, and Edge AI services.

Before joining Silo AI, Kai worked at Glaston Corporation as a Digitalization Manager, where they developed IoT, cloud, and data solutions for the company's products and services. Kai also played a vital role in formulating Glaston's digitalization strategy and identifying new business opportunities. In addition, they led a team working on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and AR/VR technologies.

Prior to their role at Glaston Corporation, Kai worked at TreLab as a Project Manager, where they designed and implemented IoT solutions for customers' digitization challenges. Kai successfully completed numerous IoT projects, focusing on areas such as operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and real estate environment monitoring. Kai also led the development of TreLab's next-generation Smart Tag and Data Mill.

Earlier in their career, Kai gained valuable experience at Intel Corporation, where they held positions such as Platform Architect and Sr. Systems Engineer. In these roles, they worked on innovative projects, managed development teams, and contributed to the design and optimization of mobile platforms. Kai focused on aspects such as platform connectivity, interface planning, and hardware designs.

Kai started their career at Nokia, where they held various positions, including Principal Specialist, Technology Manager, Architect, and ASIC Designer. Kai contributed to the development of MeeGo platforms, participated in technology roadmapping, and played a key role in ASIC projects, handling chip design, simulations, and verification.
