Rupert Krautbauer

Rupert Krautbauer has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry, mainly within Siltronic AG and its subsidiaries. Starting as an Applications Engineer at Siltronic Corp in 2005, they progressed to roles like Applications Technology Team Leader, Director of Product Management, and Vice President of Technology at Siltronic Singapore Pte Ltd. In recent years, Rupert held leadership positions such as Director of Marketing and Corporate Vice President of Investor Relations and Communications at Siltronic AG. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Siltronic AG.

Rupert Krautbauer completed their initial education in Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, achieving a Dipl Phys degree in 1999. Rupert further pursued studies in Biophysics and Nanotechnology, earning a Dr. Rer. Nat. degree from the same university in 2002. In 2003, they obtained a Vordiplom in Business from FernUniversität in Hagen, with a short academic stint at the University of Nottingham in Physics in 1995-1996.
