Stephen Yang

Stephen Yang is an experienced professional in the field of molecular genetics and product development, currently serving as Chief Product Officer at SILVEC since December 2023. Prior roles at SILVEC included Head of Product and Principal Scientist, focusing on dsRNA/siRNA therapy. Stephen previously held the position of Director of Biology at RayyBio Inc., leading biopesticide discovery efforts. Earlier career experiences include Principal Scientist at Boragen, Inc., Research Scientist at Texas A&M University specializing in microbial-based pesticide discovery, and Research Fellow at The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Inc. concentrating on viral diseases. Stephen's academic foundation includes a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
