Alireza Bahmanzad, PhD, PE, is a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in design and analysis within the construction industry. Currently employed at Silver Creek Industries, Inc. since 2019, Alireza also holds a position as a Research Assistant at UMass Amherst, focusing on Wood-Concrete Composite floor systems and CLT panel development. Additional roles include teaching assistant positions for various building construction technology courses. Previous experience includes structural engineering roles at iBuild Construction and Consulting, Jacob Smith Engineering Design, and several consulting firms in Iran, where Alireza specialized in the design of prefabricated structures, seismic evaluations, and infrastructure projects. Alireza earned a PhD in Building Construction Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2014 to 2019.
