Kate E Mason

Kate Mason has extensive experience in the behavioral health field, currently serving as a Residential Counselor at Silver Hill Hospital since February 2015. In this role, responsibilities include supporting patients and families, conducting assessments such as the Mini-Mental State Evaluation and Geriatric Depression Scale, managing patient intake, documenting psychosocial histories, developing treatment plans, and coordinating discharge processes. Previously, Kate worked as a Social Worker at Masonicare and completed an MSW internship with Catholic Charities - Archdiocese of Hartford. Education includes a Master of Social Work focused on Elders & Families from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut-Stamford.
