Carmen Mejia

Carmen Mejia is an experienced professional in the fields of dance, wellness, and therapeutic recreation. As the owner of Carmen's Cultural Mix since February 2011, Carmen has served as a consultant, managing a team while developing and implementing programs focused on enhancing the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of residents. Current roles include Director of Resident Engagement at Silverado and Activity Director at Regency Care of Arlington, both since April 2017. Previous experience includes serving as a Fitness Relation Coordinator at ABC Wellness and Fitness, developing unique dance classes, and working as a Zumba instructor across various fitness centers. Carmen's education includes two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology with a minor in Dance from Lehman College.
