When Nick joined the Silverado team in 2006, he brought with him an extensive background in the culinary arts. Nick uses his nearly 25 years of experience in the food industry to plan for and oversee the nutritional needs of Silverado’s residents, ensuring meals that are both healthy and appetizing.
Nick has been involved in the food industry at a variety of locations, including colleges and universities, private country clubs, restaurants/catering/banquets, senior centers, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers and assisted/retirement living communities.
Nick has been the recipient of several awards, including the Innovation Award and the Management Excellence Award, and is an executive roundtable member for Assisted Living Federation of America.
Nick earned both his BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management and his MS in Human Resource Management from Widener University.
