Rachel Nelson

Rachel Nelson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as Community Accountant at Silverado since July 2022, Rachel oversees a team of six, manages billing for approximately 1,000 residents across 13 communities, and implements financial processes while addressing resident inquiries. Previous roles include Staff Accountant and Human Resource Assistant at Cenexel CIT, where Rachel handled payroll, account reconciliations, and assisted in system implementations. Rachel’s foundational experience combines customer service, administrative support, and human resource management in earlier positions at BCP Systems and the University of Redlands. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Redlands and has furthered education at Saddleback College.
