Brian Fitzgerald

Brian Fitzgerald is currently the CFO at Silverchair. Prior to their current position, Brian served as the Chief Financial Officer for Harren Equity Partners from March 2011 to March 2012. Their responsibilities included spearheading the firm's reorganization into a traditional private equity company structure and forming a finance team to handle both analysis of new investment opportunities and accounting for current holdings while ensuring financial controls were in place. Brian also served as the Vice President of Finance for Dart Enterprises Ltd. from April 2008 to January 2011. Their responsibilities at Dart Enterprises included developing a proprietary financial model for Dart Enterprises and subsidiaries so new investment opportunities could be analyzed quickly, teaming with the independent internal audit department to assess control weaknesses of fledgling investments, instituting a plan for corrective actions, and creating a treasury function to allow subsidiaries to sweep excess cash positions to the parent company. Brian also coordinated the firm’s Sharepoint reporting initiatives across diverse subsidiary industries and platforms and implemented a migration from diverse software platforms to Microsoft Great Plains.

Brian Fitzgerald received their M.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Virginia and their B.S. in Finance & International Business from Penn State University. Brian also attended high school at Salesianum.

Brian Fitzgerald reports to Thane Kerner, CEO. and Ossie Nadeem - VP, Finance reports to Brian Fitzgerald. They work with Lily Garcia Walton - Chief People Officer, Tim Barton - President, and Stuart Leitch - COO and CTO.
