Dr Carolyn Lorian, CPsychol, has extensive experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing. Their most recent role is as the Head of Clinical Transformation at SilverCloud Health, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte for five years, starting in February 2016, as the Senior Workforce Transformation & Workplace Wellbeing Consulting Leader. Prior to their role at Benestar, Dr Lorian worked at Davidson Trahaire Corpsych as a Senior Psychologist in EAP Advisory. During their tenure from April 2012 to April 2014, they delivered a broad range of targeted evidence-based psychological services to diverse customers, including coaching services, instructional design of training solutions, and delivery of training programs to a range of audiences.

Dr Lorian's earlier experience includes roles as the Clinical Research Programme Lead at the eCentreClinic at Macquarie University, where they developed and tested online interventions for individuals experiencing mental health concerns, and as a Clinical Research Psychologist at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression, Virtual Clinic.

Dr Carolyn began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of New South Wales in January 2009 and worked there until June 2010.

Dr Carolyn Lorian, CPsychol pursued their Bachelor's degree from the University of Alberta, specializing in Psychology, during the period of 2001 to 2005. Following this, they proceeded to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Psychology.
