Gabriela Hernández

Gabriela Hernandez is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in healthcare and research. As a Medical Assistant/Scribe at Sunlight Clinic, Gabriela performed various clinical tasks, assisted with electronic health records, and documented patient information. Previously, as a Research Associate at Wood Mackenzie, Gabriela focused on the oil and gas sector, enhancing data gathering and research processes. Additional experience includes an Analyst Intern role at Precision Diagnostics Center, where Gabriela contributed to COVID-19 testing research, and a Research Assistant position at Klapperich Laboratory, where workflows for DNA analysis were developed. Gabriela also served as an English Literacy Tutor to support immigrant families and completed an internship at The University of Texas at Austin, synthesizing nanoparticles for cancer treatment. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and is currently continuing education at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
