Koen De Maesschalck

Koen De Maesschalck is an experienced professional with a diverse background in insurance and software consulting. Currently serving as the CEO and Principal Consultant at Silvermoon Business Systems since April 2003, Koen co-founded LUNOS and serves as an IAA Consultant, specializing in Insurance Application Architecture evangelism. Prior to this, Koen was a Software Lab Leader and IAA consultant at IBM from November 1996 to January 2004, where responsibilities included leading the development of IAA UML Models and consulting for insurance companies. Koen's career in the insurance sector began as an Actuary at KBC Insurance from August 1988 to November 1996, focusing on Health and Life insurance, and started as an actuarial student at Drouot in 1986-1987. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from KU Leuven and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Ghent University.
