Santosh Raikar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Santosh'smost recent role was as the Managing Partner and Head of Renewables at Silverpeak, where they built a private equity investment platform for the renewable energy sector. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Boston College.

From 2012 to 2018, Santosh served as the Managing Director of Renewable Energy Investments at State Street Bank. Before that, they were the Vice President of Corporate Development at Solyndra, where they managed corporate development activities and coordinated the sale process for the company during a bankruptcy filing.

In 2009, Santosh joined Energy Conversion Devices as the Project Finance Director and played a key role in developing solar energy projects in North America and India. Santosh also spearheaded financing efforts for utility-scale and distributed generation solar projects in the US and Canada.

Earlier in their career, Santosh worked at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank in various roles, specializing in commodities and global principal finance, respectively. Santosh also had a brief stint as a Research Analyst at Frontier Economics.

Santosh Raikar began their career as a Summer Associate at Deutsche Bank and later worked as a Staff Engineer at General Electric, where they contributed to the development of an Energy Management System for Southern India's transmission networks.

Overall, Santosh Raikar has extensive experience in renewable energy investments, corporate development, project finance, and commodities financing.

Santosh Raikar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 1994 to 1997. Santosh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University from 1997 to 1998. Following this, Santosh furthered their education at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they completed a Master of Science degree in Public Policy from 1999 to 2001.
