Philip Iwema

Philip Iwema has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2010, they started working at KeyBAKE Bakeware & Coatings B.V. as a Marketing/Host & Laborer before transitioning to Effective Marketing in 2016 as a Website Developer & Marketing Trainee.

In 2017, Philip joined Kyriba, where they held multiple roles including Business Development & Strategic Partnerships and Sales & Strategic Partnerships in the Middle East. Philip then became responsible for Direct & Indirect Sales in EMEA Emerging Markets from 2020 to 2021.

From 2021 to 2022, Philip founded Phi Ventures, focusing on Advisory Services and Investing in Tech & Blockchain related startups. Philip developed expertise in capital raising, strategic initiatives, partnerships, sales, business development, investment portfolio management, corporate treasury & payments, financial technology, SaaS, investor relations, and GTM strategies.

In 2022, Philip was an Angel Investor at YallaSwap and Repo, and also served as a Seed Investor at Family First Fund - GCC. Additionally, they joined Silverstone Luxury Realty in 2023 as the Founder & Managing Partner.

Throughout their career, Philip demonstrated a strong business acumen and the ability to manage clients, drive sales, and establish strategic partnerships. Philip also played a key role in transitioning smoothly between roles and ensuring proper handover at Kyriba.

Philip Iwema's education history includes a Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in International Business from Deltion College, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Philip'searlier education includes a focus on Economics at Almere College from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Philip has obtained various certifications, including ones in real estate, financial trading, anti-money laundering, and data protection.
