Saurabh Jain

Saurabh Jain has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Saurabh currently holds the role of Director of HW Design at SiMa.ai since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Principal Engineer at SiMa.ai from October 2020 to August 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Member of Technical Staff at SiMa.ai, where they contributed to the development of the company's software-centric MLSoC™ platform.

Before joining SiMa.ai, Saurabh worked at Marvell Semiconductor for several years. Saurabh held various positions, including Principal Design Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Design Engineer, Staff Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Design Engineer. In these roles, they had responsibilities such as optimizing LDPC decoders, implementing NVMe for SSD teams, delivering analog control and non-linear adaptation IP, designing and implementing digital elements of Digital PLL, and designing high-speed linear and non-linear Viterbi architectures.

Prior to Marvell Semiconductor, Saurabh worked as a Member Technical Staff at CDAC, where they contributed to the development of re-configurable systems. Saurabh also worked as a Software Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they were involved in software projects for customer-specific website development, and at IUCAA in Pune, India, where they worked on a BE Project.

Throughout their career, Saurabh has gained expertise in hardware design, high-speed data processing, digital and analog IP development, and verification methodology. Saurabh has experience working with machine learning companies, semiconductor companies, R&D institutions, and software development companies.

Saurabh Jain has a strong education background in the field of computer engineering and telecommunications. Saurabh obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in 2001. Saurabh Jain's undergraduate studies were focused on Electronics and Telecommunication, as they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1996 to 2000. Finally, they completed their high school education at Don Bosco School from 1982 to 1996, with a specialization in the field of Science.
