Hong Qi

Hong Qi has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors, currently serving as Executive Director at Simcere Pharmaceutical Group since April 2013. Prior to this role, Hong worked at Merck Group as a Research Consultant from December 2006 to April 2013, overseeing assay development and validation for biological therapeutics. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Research Scientist at the University of Oxford, Senior Research and Development Scientist at Merck, and Research Associate at Newcastle University, among others. Hong's academic foundation includes a PhD, MSc, and BS in Chemistry from Nanjing University, where an academic career began as an Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry.
