Lead Game Developer at Simcoach Games

Garrett Kimball has extensive experience in game development, which began in 2010 when they worked as an IT Help Desk Associate at Grove City College. From 2009 to 2011, they also served as a Teacher's Assistant in the Computer Science Department, where they graded assignments and contributed to the design of programming classes.

In 2012, Garrett Kimball became a Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center, where they collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop Entertainment Technology products for external clients. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the "Building Virtual Worlds" course, teaching students how to use Unity3D to rapidly develop games and setting up platforms for student use.

Since 2014, Garrett Kimball has been a part of Simcoach Games, starting as a Game Developer and eventually becoming the Lead Game Developer. In their role, they actively develop Unity game projects, manages and mentors new Game Development hires, oversees schedules, provides training and assistance, and reviews code. Their main responsibilities include maintaining and expanding existing products, developing new products, and assisting in design and product management.

Garrett Kimball holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, with a major in General Computer and Information Sciences from Grove City College. Garrett pursued their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2011. Following this, Garrett pursued a Master's Degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed between 2012 and 2013. No further education history is provided beyond these two academic experiences.
