Lawrence Plofker

Lawrence Plofker has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in game design, writing, and customer service. Lawrence currently works as a Game Designer at Simcoach Games since June 2021. Prior to this, they were a Virtual Game Design Student Associate at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. from October 2020 to June 2021, where they were involved in game ideation, research, documentation, and collaboration with software developers and content creators.

In 2020, Lawrence served as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University for the ETC 53-280 Tabletop Games course, assisting students in the game design process. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, specializing in the Toys and Games Department.

Lawrence also has experience as a Freelance Writer and Designer, working on various projects such as comic books, video games, and tabletop design from May 2012 to August 2019. Lawrence served as a Lead Narrative Writer and Concept Designer at Vulpe Arcana from October 2016 to January 2019, focusing on core gameplay mechanics and plot-related elements.
