Alessandro Michelini

Alessandro Michelini is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the asset management and financial technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Axioma Business & Commercial at SimCorp since January 2024, Alessandro is also a member of the SimCorp Global Management Committee and the Commercial Leadership Team. Prior to this, Alessandro held the position of Managing Director at Qontigo from September 2019 to January 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the Front and Middle Office and leading Product Specialists and Services. Alessandro's career began at Axioma Inc., where tenure from July 2008 to September 2019 included positions such as Global Head of Portfolio Solutions. Previous roles at Moody's KMV, MSCI Barra, and Barra International further established a strong foundation in sales and relationship management across the EMEA market. Alessandro holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Università Bocconi and has additional education from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
