Ibrahim Arifi Mat has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ibrahim Arifi is currently an Assistant Vice President at Sime Darby Plantation, starting in 2022. Ibrahim held the position of Chief Executive Officer at FIC INTEGRATED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SDN BHD from 2016 to 2018 and Vice President - Head of Property at Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they served as the GM - Property, Tourism & Manufacturing at East Coast Economic Region Development Council from 2013 to 2014. Ibrahim also has experience as a General Manager at Senai High Tech Park from 2009 to 2013 and as Vice President Operations at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Malaysia from 1994 to 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Executive at Island & Peninsular Berhad and as a Valuation Executive at Rahim & Co.

Ibrahim Arifi Mat has a diverse education history that spans several years and covers various fields of study. Ibrahim Arifi began their educational journey at Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) Ipoh from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued their SPM qualification. Following this, Ibrahim attended The Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK), where they completed their A Levels from 1986 to 1988. Continuing their academic pursuit, they enrolled at the University of Greenwich from 1989 to 1991, specializing in Real Estate and earning a degree in Estate Management. Later on, they attended Universiti Utara Malaysia from 2004 to 2006, obtaining their MBA degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
