Nasarudin Hussein has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. nasarudin started their career as a Design Engineer at Avanti West Coast in 1990. From 1993 to 1997, they worked as a Structural & Pipeline Engineer at PETRONAS, where they were involved in project planning, tendering, execution, and commissioning. Since 1997, they have been with Sime Darby Plantation, initially as a Vice President Of Engineering. In this role, they managed infrastructure and construction projects for the group in Malaysia and Indonesia, including refineries and biodiesel plants. Nasarudin is highly skilled in project management, communication, and cost optimization.

Nasarudin Hussein attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Civil & Structural. nasarudin then pursued further education at the Internationa Business School in Malaysia from 2004 to 2005, earning a degree in International Business School with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
