Barry S. Anderson is an accomplished artist and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in artistic professions, specializing in special effects and makeup. As the Owner/President of Transmutation Designs LLC since April 2013, Barry Anderson leads a team that creates high-quality artworks, practical effects, and custom projects for various industries, including arts, entertainment, museums, and theme parks. In addition to this role, Barry serves as the Director of Special Effects Engineering at SIMETRI, Inc., focusing on the design and development of medical training devices for military exercises. Previously, Barry worked as a freelance special effects makeup artist for numerous film and television productions, and held various positions at Ripley Entertainment, where artistic direction and management of prop and museum figure creation were central responsibilities. Education includes studies at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Berger Institute of Production Makeup.
