Ashay Mulye

Machine Learning Engineer at Simi Reality Motion Systems

Ashay Mulye has experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Simi Reality Motion Systems since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Master Thesis Student at FEV Europe GmbH from November 2018 to May 2019, where they developed datasets and deep learning models for semantic segmentation and lane line detection. Ashay also optimized these models through parameter tuning. Before that, they worked as a Werkstudent at FEV Europe GmbH from July 2018 to September 2018. Ashay also worked as a Mini-Thesis Student at Cybernetics Lab IMA/ZLW & IFU in Aachen from January 2018 to February 2018, as a Werkstudent at ZF Group from February 2017 to December 2017, and as a Research Assistant at Institut für Bildsame Formgebung from October 2016 to January 2017.

In addition, Ashay has experience as an Analysis Engineer and GET (Global Engineer Trainee) at General Motors from July 2013 to July 2015. In this role, they performed CAE simulations and seat comfort simulations, provided feedback to the design team, and analyzed H-Point and comfort design targets. Ashay also worked as a Summer Intern at Force Motors Ltd in June 2012, where they studied the engine assembly line and production processes. Lastly, they worked as an Engineering Intern at VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Joint Venture) from December 2011 to January 2012, where they worked on the feasibility of developing a new vehicle and studied various aspects of vehicle production and safety.

Ashay Mulye has a strong education background in engineering and computer science. Ashay received their Master's Degree in Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

Further back, Ashay attended S.I.C.A and completed their AISSCE from 1994 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Ashay Mulye has obtained several certifications. Ashay completed various online courses, such as "DEV290x: Computer Vision and Image Analysis" from edX, "Intro to TensorFlow," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera Course Certificates. These certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2019.
