Hamd ul Moqeet Riaz

Hamd ul Moqeet Riaz has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and companies. Hamd ul Moqeet is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Simi Reality Motion Systems since 2022. Prior to this, they were a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at the University of Tübingen from 2017 to 2022, where they focused on object detection, instance segmentation, and implicit neural representations. Hamd ul Moqeet also has experience as a Student Research Assistant at RIF e.V. from 2016 to 2017, where they worked on simulation of robotics applications. Furthermore, they completed their Masters Thesis on deep learning in mobile robot navigation at TU Dortmund University from 2016 to 2017. Finally, they worked as a Research Engineer at the National University of Science and Technology from 2012 to 2014, where their responsibilities included managing and advising bachelor thesis groups and conducting laboratory sessions and workshops on robotics.

Hamd ul Moqeet Riaz started their education at Roots School System in 2006, where they pursued Advanced levels in the field of Pre-Engineering. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechatronics. In 2014, they enrolled at TU Dortmund University, where they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Automation and Robotics in 2017. Later, from 2017 to 2020, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at the University of Tübingen.
