Chuck Newell

Chuck Newell is an experienced banking executive with a robust background in leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Tennessee Community Division President at Simmons Bank since March 2018, Chuck previously held the position of Regional Community President. Prior to this, Chuck was the President at Centennial Bank Tennessee from January 2015 to January 2018 and served as CEO at Triumph Mortgage from August 2013 to January 2015. Additionally, Chuck was the President & CEO of Merchants & Planters Bank from February 2008 to August 2013 and spent over two decades at First Horizon, culminating in the role of Executive Vice President.
