Kent Eastman

Kent Eastman currently serves as Chief Credit Officer for the Texas Division at Simmons Bank, a position held since June 2020. Prior to this role, Kent Eastman was Texas State President and Commercial Banking Manager at Capital One Bank from 1994 to December 2019, where responsibilities included leading the bank's de novo expansion into major Texas markets and hiring key personnel. Additionally, Kent Eastman held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Credit Approval Officer, overseeing credit policy and processes for multiple acquisitions. Kent Eastman holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Tennessee Technological University, attended the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University, and earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Tennessee Nashville.
