Shanda Hinton

Shanda Hinton currently serves as the Chief Diversity Officer and Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Executive at RTX since April 2017. Hinton is also a Board Member at the Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership and The Faith & Politics Institute, roles that began in July 2023 and December 2022, respectively. Previously, Hinton held senior positions at ITT Inc. as the Global Culture & Talent Lead, Korn Ferry as a Principal Consultant, Comcast as the Senior Director of Leadership Diversity & Talent Management, and CIGNA as the Director of Leadership Planning & Development. Early career experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Trinity College - Hartford from 1998 to 2000. Hinton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
