Audrey Hamade

Audrey Hamade, CPA, CGA, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Faculty Operations and Planning at Simon Fraser University, a position held since September 2007, and previously worked as a Senior Financial Analyst in the same institution. Prior to this, Audrey was employed at Teck Cominco Limited as a Compliance & Internal Audit, SOX Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating Sarbanes-Oxley Act activities, managing control deficiencies, and conducting risk assessments. Audrey's career also includes a significant tenure at Placer Dome, where roles encompassed SOX Project Management Office Accountant and Business Analyst/Mine Accountant, focusing on financial control and operational accounting practices. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English Language and Japanese from The University of British Columbia, and an MBA in Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University.
