Christine Barnett

Christine Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christine is currently working as the Associate Director of Student Engagement at Simon Fraser University since 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where they served as the Manager of Events and Marketing - External Relations from 2016 to 2023 and later as the Associate Director of Employer Engagement in the Graduate Career Management Centre. Christine also has experience working at Kwantlen University College as an Academic Advisor, ILSC Education Group as the Director of Cooperative Education, and The Fifth Option as a Recruiting Practitioner. Additionally, they have held roles in recruitment and customer service at excel Human Resources, TELUS, TD, and CIBC.

Christine Barnett attended The University of British Columbia from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
