Christine Harris

Christine Harris, CFRE, is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in advancement roles at various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Advancement for the Faculty of Environment at Simon Fraser University since January 2022, Christine previously held positions such as Philanthropy Manager at The London School of Economics and Political Science, where relationship-building with alumni and donors was key to securing funding for scholarships and research. With a proven track record in leading successful fundraising campaigns, including a £5.8 million capital campaign for CPotential and doubling major donor income at Freedom from Torture, Christine has consistently developed and implemented strategies to enhance fundraising efforts across diverse organizations. Educational qualifications include an MBA Essentials from The London School of Economics and a BA in Women's Studies and Sociology from The University of British Columbia, along with ongoing studies at the Institute of Fundraising.
