Cicely Belle Blain

Cicely Belle Blain is a seasoned leader and advocate for equity, inclusion, and social justice with extensive experience in consulting, education, and youth work. As CEO of Bakau Consulting Inc. since January 2018, Cicely has been at the forefront of developing a global, intersectional approach to equity and anti-racism. In addition to this role, Cicely serves as the Editorial Director for RIPPLE OF CHANGE Magazine and as an Instructor in Executive Leadership at Simon Fraser University, emphasizing collaborative and adaptive leadership practices. Previous experience includes impactful positions at QMUNITY, BC's Queer Resource Centre, and various roles focused on intercultural dialogue and accessibility. Cicely holds a Bachelor's Degree from The University of British Columbia and a Certificate in New Media Journalism from Simon Fraser University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from United World College Maastricht.
