Shaheen Nanji

Shaheen Nanji is an accomplished professional in international and global engagement, currently serving as the Executive Director of SFU International since September 2020. Prior to this role, Shaheen held positions as Dialogue Associate at the SFU Centre for Dialogue and Director of Global Engagement at SFU International. With a comprehensive background at Simon Fraser University from 2005 to 2019, Shaheen has held various leadership roles, including Director of International Community Engagement and Acting Executive Director of SFU International. Additionally, Shaheen served as the Acting Director of Engagement at the SFU Institute for Diaspora Research and Engagement from 2012 to 2013. Educationally, Shaheen earned a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies and a Bachelor of General Studies in Liberal Arts and Business, both from Simon Fraser University.
