Ted Peterson

Ted Peterson (he/him/his) has over 20 years of experience in communications and marketing roles. Ted started their career at Corus Entertainment as a Senior Writer, where they managed creative development and copywriting for various national and local clients. Ted then worked at CTVGlobemedia as a Senior Writer, responsible for developing creative content and maintaining client relationships. Ted also worked as a Media Public Relations Specialist at Pamela Groberman Media and Public Relations, providing strategic communications counsel and managing media relations for clients in various sectors. Ted'smost recent experience includes roles at The University of British Columbia as a Manager of Proposal Development and at Simon Fraser University, where they are currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications and the Managing Director of Communications and Donor Relations.

Ted Peterson attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied Marketing Communications and Public Relations. Ted also pursued a field of study in Broadcast Communications at the same institution. Additionally, Ted pursued Continuing Studies at Simon Fraser University and completed a course in InDesign Level 1 at Vancouver Community College (VCC).
