Chris Gallagher-York

Chris Gallagher-York is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director at Umbel Restaurant Group since July 2019. In this role, Chris provides strategic advice and develops the financial team to enhance operational efficiency across the business. Prior to this, Chris held the position of Financial Controller overseeing the multi Michelin Star Simon Rogan restaurant group and worked at Amey as a Finance Business Partner and Finance Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at Synexus Clinical Research Ltd, Bupa, Bentley Motors Ltd, BAE Systems, and Virgin Media, encompassing various financial functions such as accounting, analysis, and management. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from the University of Derby and has pursued CIMA qualifications from 2011 to 2014.
