Salvi Plaja

Salvi Plaja is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design and sustainability. Currently serving as President at FAD since October 2022, Salvi also holds the position of Chief Design & Sustainability Officer and Design Manager at SIMON since March 2012. Salvi's prior roles include President at ADI-FAD from June 2017 to October 2022 and Lighting Teacher at ÁRTIDI Escuela Superior de Escaparatismo from 2004 to 2013. With a robust background as Technical Manager at Santa & Cole and Industrial Designer positions at various companies including Simon Lighting, Troll J feliu de la Penya, I.E.P. Iluminación, and Braun AG, Salvi has cultivated deep expertise in industrial design. Salvi's educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Design Management from UPC School of Professional & Executive Development and a Graduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Universitat de Girona, among other specialized training in lighting design.
