Valerie Garfield

Valerie Garfield has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Valerie began their career at HarperCollins Children's Books in 1993 as an Editor and worked there until 1997. Valerie then moved to Golden Books where they served as a Senior Editor from 1997 to 1999. Valerie then joined Scholastic as a Senior Editor in 1999 before transitioning to HarperCollins Children's Books again as an Executive Editor from 2000 to 2001. Valerie then became the Publishing Director at Sesame Workshop from 2001 to 2005. Valerie's most recent role was at Simon & Schuster, where they held various positions.
