Pedro Renteria

Pedro Renteria has extensive experience in finance, specifically in roles related to financial planning and analysis. Pedro is currently the VP of FP&A at SimonMed Imaging, a position they have held since November 2021. Before that, they were the VP of FP&A at Frontier Communications from July 2020 to November 2021. Prior to Frontier, Pedro held the position of Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Early Warning™ from July 2016 to July 2020. Pedro also has experience working at Amazon as a Finance Controller, where they managed finance and controllership efforts, analyzed performance, and championed technology and automation improvements. Before their time at Amazon, they worked at American Airlines/US Airways as a Finance Director, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and at US Airways in various finance roles, including Finance Director and Hyperion Financial Systems Manager. Pedro has strong leadership and analytical skills, as well as experience mentoring finance teams and providing strategic financial leadership.

Pedro Renteria completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in 1999. Pedro then pursued further education at the W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, and Management Information Systems, respectively.
