Nora Eisner

Flatiron Research Fellow, Center For Computational Astrophysics at Simons Foundation

Nora Eisner is a highly skilled astrophysicist with extensive research experience across prominent institutions. Currently serving as a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Astrophysics within the Simons Foundation, Eisner has previously held the position of Henry Norris Russell Research Fellow at Princeton University. At NASA Ames Research Center, Eisner contributed as a science communicator and developed code for various projects. Prior academic roles include serving as an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Maryland and completing a PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2021. Eisner also holds a Master’s degree in Physics and Astrophysics from The University of Sheffield, awarded in 2018.
