Shobhik Ghosh has been working in the technology industry since 2011. Shobhik began their career as an Android Developer and Marketing Specialist at Simple But Needed, Inc., where they helped expand the company's product line of iPhone applications for the enterprise to the Android mobile and tablet platforms. Shobhik also developed the latest version of consumer-facing Android apps for a top-ten business school, a leading Berkeley nonprofit organization, and a leading charitable institution.
From 2010 to 2011, Shobhik worked at UC Davis in various roles, including Computer Resource Specialist, Assistant IV in the Department of Anthropology, Assistant IV in the Division of Social Sciences, Special Study Assistant in the Department of Communication, Assistant III in the Middle East/South Asia Studies Program, and Assistant III in the Sproul Social Sciences Administration. In these roles, they provided technical support and consulting services, designed websites, created web and media content, organized contacts and course information in a centralized database, audited existing virtualization and cloud computing services, created custom programs for data processing, adapted existing data for video capture and presentation, and maintained and created web content for a new Ph.D. program.
In 2010, Shobhik also worked as a Graphics Designer at the UC Davis Marketing and Business Association.
Shobhik Ghosh received their high school diploma from Granite Bay High School in 2007 and prior to that attended St. Xavier's Collegiate School from 1995 to 2006. Shobhik then went on to receive a BS in Economics and a BA in History from the University of California, Davis in 2011.
