Julie Murphy

Julie Murphy serves as the President & Executive Director of Partners for Women and Justice since March 2020, where the focus is on empowering low-income survivors of domestic violence through legal assistance. In addition, Julie founded OAKWOOD LEADERSHIP, providing leadership development and coaching since May 2015. Julie is a Featured Teacher and Expert for Simple Habit, creating mindfulness meditation content, and a Certified Teacher of Search Inside Yourself, a program developed at Google to enhance emotional intelligence and leadership. Previous experience includes roles at Verizon and Girl Scouts of the USA, where Julie held senior director positions focused on strategy and change management. Julie's legal career began as a Staff Attorney in family law, supported by a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a BA from Rutgers University.
