Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy has extensive experience in research and development within the food industry, currently serving as a Senior R&D Scientist at Simple Mills since April 2018, where previous roles included Research & Development Scientist, Associate Product Development Scientist, and R&D Technician. Prior experience includes a position as a Seasoning Technician at Givaudan, where Colin developed trend-worthy seasonings generating significant revenue and managed various customer specialty programs. An internship at FONA International, Inc. focused on product safety and quality, yielding a high performance rating and successful completion of an SQF audit. Additionally, Colin conducted research as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, exploring the implications of genetics on Type II diabetes. Colin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
