Chris Coley

Chris Coley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Simple Things, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr. Director at Palo Alto Networks from March 2020 to March 2022. Chris also worked as the Director of Hardware at Essential from March 2019 to March 2020. Before that, Chris was a Senior Systems Engineer at Playground.Global from November 2015 to March 2019. Chris also worked at Logitech as a Distinguished Engineer/Architect from September 2013 to October 2015, and as a Principal Systems Engineer at Lab126 from July 2010 to September 2013. Chris founded and served as the Chief Architect of AdvanceV from June 2003 to July 2010. Chris started their career as the President/Owner of TechXcellent, a company providing consulting and contracting services to the Consumer Electronics Industry, from June 2001 to June 2006. Chris also worked as a Hardware Architect at ReplayTV from November 1998 to June 2001, and as a Manager Systems Architecture at Philips Digital Entertainment Group from April 1996 to November 1998.

Chris Coley attended Rutgers University from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
