Richard Carr

Richard Carr is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Public Governor at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust since September 2022, Richard also holds the position of Managing Director for Simpler Consulting, an IBM Company, since November 2016, where expertise in lean transformations enhances organizational performance. Previous roles include Chair at National Education Trust from 2010 to August 2020, and Managing Director at Q. Learning Ltd, pfp Publishing, and Letts Educational Ltd from 1996 to 2016. Richard began the career as a Publisher at Pearson from 1988 to 1992. Educational qualifications include an MA in English from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Judgement and Decision Making from UCL, and a Post-graduate degree in Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
