Daniel Hoodin

Daniel Hoodin is a seasoned software engineer with over 14 years of experience in the financial technology sector. Currently, as the Senior Software Engineer and Market Data Team Lead at Simplex Investments, Daniel leads a team that develops proprietary applications for low-latency market data in multiple data centers. Prior to this role, Daniel maintained significant components of the market data infrastructure and worked on the OPRA feed and NBBO computation. Daniel's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
