Amitabh Gaur

Amitabh Gaur, Ph.D., is an experienced leader in the field of immunology and biotechnology, currently serving as President and Science Advisor at Innovative Assay Solutions LLC in San Diego since 2017. Gaur provides consultancy and scientific guidance in the design and development of biological therapeutics, cell-based therapies, including CAR-T cells, and vaccines for emerging diseases. As a Senior Science Advisor at Simplexity Product Development, and a former Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University, Gaur's extensive background includes significant contributions to vaccine development at PaxVax, Inc., leadership in custom technologies at BD Biosciences, and pioneering research at Neurocrine Biosciences focused on autoimmune disorders. Gaur's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Immunology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and postdoctoral training in Immunology at Stanford University.
