Venkat Chakka

Venkat Chakka has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Venkat is currently the Director - Enterprise Business Europe & Africa at Simplilearn, a role they have been in since May 2021. Prior to this, Venkat held the position of Sr. Associate Director - Enterprise Business Europe & Africa at Simplilearn from July 2020 to May 2021. Venkat also served as the Associate Director (Europe and Africa) - Enterprise Business at Simplilearn from June 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining Simplilearn, Venkat worked as the Sr. Business Manager - EMEA at Onnet Systems Pvt Ltd from June 2018 to June 2019. Onnet Systems is a subsidiary of Onnurinet Inc, based in Seoul, South Korea, providing solutions on IPTV, Mobile Streaming, CDN & Cloud Streaming.

Prior to their time at Onnet Systems, Venkat served as the Business Manager - EMEA at Tambora Systems from September 2016 to August 2018. Venkat also worked as the Partner Manager - West Africa (Nigeria and Ghana) at Avaya and Redington Gulf from August 2013 to July 2016.

Venkat's earlier roles include working as the Partner Account Manager (PAM) at Tata Teleservices Ltd from July 2012 to September 2013, and as a Business Developer at ValueLabs from October 2008 to June 2012.

Venkat Chakka completed their MBA in Marketing from ICFAI, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Before that, they pursued a BTECH degree in IT from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as an Avaya Product sales specialist from Avaya in January 2014.
