Peter Sorensen, CCS, possesses extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Front End Innovation at J.R. Simplot Company since June 2001. Previous roles at J.R. Simplot include Program Lead for International Product Development, Senior Marketing Manager for McDonald's Global Business, International Quality Assurance Manager, and Senior Food Scientist. Prior to J.R. Simplot, Peter worked as a PowerBar Quality Assurance Specialist at Nestlé from 2000 to 2001. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Human Nutrition from Washington State University (1994-2000) and further studies at Boise State University (2000-2001).
