Dr. Derricka Thomas

Dr. Derricka Thomas currently serves as the Director of Child Nutrition and District Level Interventionist and MTSS Coordinator for the Simpson County School District since July 2016. Previously, Dr. Thomas was the Principal at Lillie Burney Elementary from July 2013 to June 2016. Dr. Thomas holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Research from The University of Southern Mississippi, earned between 2003 and 2006, and a Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education and Teaching from William Carey University, obtained in 1999.
