Joanna Lim

Joanna Lim currently serves as Special Counsel at Simpson Grierson, a position held since July 2009, where expertise encompasses insurance, financial services, financial markets, AML/CFT, and sanctions regimes in New Zealand, along with knowledge of the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme. Additionally, Joanna has contributed as a Senior Associate at Market Gardeners Limited since November 2018 and acted as Director for Selwyn Arts Trust from August 2014 until February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Trustee at Anthony Harper from March 2002 to June 2009 and a Senior Associate position. Joanna Lim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)(Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury, obtained between 1997 and 2000, and completed secondary education at Christchurch Girls' High School from 1992 to 1996.
