Zeeba Daruwalla K. has a wealth of experience in the medical field. In 2003, they began their career as an Undergraduate Student Honors Program and Research Assistant at Oberlin College's Department of Neuroscience. The following year, they were a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Medical College of Ohio's Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology. In 2005, they became a Research Assistant at Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Pediatric Critical Care, where they examined the role of omega 3 and glucose in neonatal rats as a potential treatment for hypoxia-ischemia. Zeeba Daruwalla was also responsible for the general management and maintenance of the lab. In 2007, they began their Graduate Student role at Weill Cornell Medical College's Department of Neuroscience, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant for the courses "Brain to Mind" and "Techniques in Molecular Biology: From DNA to Protein". Zeeba Daruwalla was also a Student Mentor. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College's Department of Pediatric Neurology. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer at BGB Group. During this time, they also held the role of Associate Scientific Director at LiNK Health Group. Her most recent role is Scientific Director at SIMPSON Healthcare, which they began in 2022.

Zeeba Daruwalla K. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University between 2007 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Neuroscience from Oberlin College between 2001 and 2005.
